Ewa Podogrodzka-Maruszkin

Ewa has specialised in legal advice related to court disputes arising from the contract execution, particularly construction and IT contracts, for years. Her background includes complex security proceedings related to construction investments, in particular, the use of bank or insurance guarantees by one of the parties to the investment process. Her mediator qualifications allow her to accurately identify and assess the chances of amicable dispute resolution, often allowing the clients to avoid lengthy (and costly) court proceedings.

Ewa has represented general contractors and subcontractors of complex construction and implementation investments at every stage of the contract, with a particular emphasis on representation in court disputes and out-of-court negotiations. She has successfully represented contractors in security proceedings concerning the use of performance guarantees. In her professional career, Ewa has represented some of the largest construction companies in Poland, including companies from the General Contractor of the National Stadium group and key railways. In mass proceedings, she has successfully represented clients, leading to the conclusion of several dozen favourable settlements, both in court and out.

She has represented clients in court disputes with a total value of over one billion PLN.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw, Ewa also did postgraduate studies in intellectual property at the Jagiellonian University.

She holds mediator qualifications and has completed the International Mediation Training organised by the National Bar Council in cooperation with GRO Global Resolutions Organization.

Ewa is fluent in English.
