Jakub Chlebowski

Jakub specializes in technology law, in particular IT contracts, copyright, the legal aspects of cybersecurity, technology regulations (FinTech), and data protection.
He has participated in several hundred projects involving the preparation, audit, and negotiation of IT contracts, including implementation, service, licensing, and cloud contracts. He has provided services to both the public and private sectors, including IT companies during the implementation of their IT systems.
Jakub also provides regulatory advice for the financial sector, including contract preparation compliant with financial sector regulations, and implementing DORA Regulation requirements by key financial sector entities (including banks and insurance companies) operating in Poland.
During his years of practice, he has participated in projects concerning the analysis of cybersecurity requirements for the national cybersecurity system, and prepared multiple legal opinions on cybersecurity, including opinions on the impact assessment of national and EU legislative projects.
A graduate of Law at the Jagiellonian University and postgraduate studies "Cybersecurity Management" at the Kozminski University, Jakub holds an Agile PM Foundation certificate.
He is co-author of the publication "The essence and practical aspects of the CLA agreement," LEX/el. 2022.
Jakub is fluent in English, German, and Russian.
